Photo taken in Cairo, Egypt during World War II. Inscribed “To my Jack – Kay.” Kay was a woman in the Air Force (1945) stationed in Cairo as a Military Attaché to Egypt and she dated Jack who was also stationed there. With the 1940’s captivating style, she is memorable to the man she gave this photo. She holds a cigarette in the photo, which would certainly not be in vogue today or even allowed in a studio.
